It was a sunny day in autumn, and everyone was out walking.  A town devoid of motorized cars, but still has small engine vehicles like motorcycles but no bigger than that.  It was a prosperous town that thrived like an Oceanside attraction, many people came from all over bringing with them great artisan trades, ranging from toys to food to tools of creation.  It was certainly a sight to behold.  Sometimes I found myself roped into helping someone with a task or request, I don’t mind much, it;’ not as if I had anything better to do, it was always a good time waster until I was called upon for my trade to act.  I was a painter, large scale painter.

Many businesses called upon me to paint murals for advertisement purposes, and my works drew in customers.  One day I received a commission from someone new in town, she owned the mall in the center of town.  She had me meet her at the coffee shop where she related her story of the store chain called “The Spotted Dove”.  After she finished I was further intrigued by the duality of the project, a “light” and “darkness” set of entryway murals.  It was a project with an exorbitant sum attached to it, and for the first time, I asked for a couple of weeks to plan this out, to which she agreed to.  After all my planning and collection of the deposit, I go to the job site, and I saw the two panels of 25’ in both dimensions, largest I’ve ever done before.  Unpacking my paint kit, I could feel my creative blood boiling as I was about to take on the greatest design project of my freelance career!  Oh this will be good!
